Otokar KAYA is designed on the Daimler Chrysler Unimog 5000 chassis, which has proven itself worldwide with its superior off-road performance. The vehicle uses a monocoque armored body for superior protection.
The Otokar KAYA 4x4 tactical wheeled armored vehicle features separate driver and crew compartments. With a crew capacity of 12, the vehicle is equipped with specially designed mine and blast-resistant seating systems to protect the personnel inside. The interior design also aims to facilitate quick and easy evacuation if necessary.
Thanks to its modular design, the KAYA vehicle can also be used as a mine-protected payload carrier when needed.
