Otokar aims to be a strong contender in European bus exports: The new KENT, e-TERRITO, and OTONOM e-CENTRO have been introduced.

Otokar introduced its new buses (Yeni KENT, e-TERRITO, autonomous e-CENTRO) at a press conference held at its Sakarya factory.

Otokar Hydrogen Fuelled Bus

Otokar, Türkiye's leading bus brand, held a press conference at its factory in Sakarya to announce its growth targets in the European market.

Otokar introduced its new alternative fuel bus family and its autonomous bus at a press conference. The new vehicles include electric, CNG and hydrogen-fueled KENT buses, the electric TERRITO bus, and the e-CENTRO microbus with Level 4 autonomous driving technology. Otokar unveiled its autonomous bus for the first time in Türkiye. The autonomous bus can transport passengers along a designated route without the need for a driver.

New KENT familyDesigned for urban public transportation, KENT buses are offered in various lengths from 10 to 21 meters, in CNG, electric, and diesel versions. The new KENT family stands out with its comfort, performance, and environmental friendliness. The new e-KENT attracts attention with its batteries with a capacity of 450 kWh and above, its spacious interior thanks to the removal of the engine compartment, and its long range. KENT Hydrogen, as the first bus with hydrogen fuel cell technology, provides zero emissions by producing only water vapor.

e-TERRITODeveloped for the European market and a Class 1 vehicle, TERRITO offers an ideal solution for short-distance intercity travel, shuttle services, and school bus applications. The e-TERRITO, with its electric version, stands out with zero emissions, high performance, versatility, and independent front suspension.

AUTONOMOUS e-CENTROOtokar's iconic minibus, the e-CENTRO, has been renewed with Level 4 autonomous driving technology. Capable of traveling without a driver, the vehicle has been developed to comply with traffic regulations. Ensuring passengers can easily board and disembark at designated stops along its route, the vehicle offers uninterrupted transportation services 24/7.

Furthermore, Otokar continues its efforts with the goal of becoming a leader in the European market. The company has subsidiaries in France, Romania, and Italy. In the coming period, Otokar plans to continue its growth in the Scandinavian countries, Germany, and Latvia markets in Europe. Otokar is a global brand exporting buses to 60 countries in Europe.
