Driving tests of the National Electric Train Set, a completely domestic design by Turkish engineers, have been completed.
The train, which is environmentally friendly, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and has successfully completed all driving tests, is scheduled to enter service soon.
Designed in accordance with TSI standards, the speed of the National Electric Train Set has been increased from 160 km/h to 200 km/h. Planned for export to European Union countries starting in 2023, the train stands out as another project demonstrating Türkiye's success in domestic production.
