The 12 domestically produced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that have entered the Turkish Armed Forces inventory will be used for reconnaissance and intelligence purposes after military personnel receive training.
The Bayraktar UAV successfully completed its first test flight equipped with the ADS-B system, taking off from Keşan Military Airfield.
The Bayraktar Tactical UAV System possesses fully automated taxiing, takeoff, flight, landing, braking, and return to the hangar from the moment it leaves the hangar – features not found in any alternative UAV system in the world.
