Having handled the distribution and marketing of global technology products in the Turkish market for many years, Taglig decided to leverage its industry experience into manufacturing. The project, whose foundations were laid in 2016 and which was supported by strategic investment incentives from the Ministry of Economy, has transformed into a modern production campus in Amasya.
Established with the vision of creating a "domestic alternative" in the import-dependent electronics sector, this facility aims to reduce Türkiye's dependence on foreign sources in the LED screen market by producing according to European standards.
Strategic Transformation from Marketing to Manufacturing
Taglig's story represents the desire of Turkish companies to be involved not only in the consumption chain but also in the production chain. After years of marketing imported products, the company management embarked on a challenging path, saying, "We can produce something better here.".
- Research and Development Focused Approach: The facility in Amasya was designed not just as an assembly line, but as an R&D center. A team composed entirely of Turkish engineers developed original designs focusing on the image quality, energy efficiency, and durability of LED panels.
- %100 Yerli Sermaye: The project's financing and investment process were managed entirely with the company's own resources and national capital, without any foreign partnerships.
Why Amasya? Technology Ecosystem in Anatolia
In an environment where technology investments are generally concentrated in Istanbul, Kocaeli, or Ankara, Taglig's choice of Amasya as its production base is of strategic importance for regional development.
This investment;
- Employment: It offers skilled workers and engineers in the region the opportunity to work "in their own land".
- Logistics and Production Costs: By leveraging Anatolia's production advantages, it makes it possible to offer products at competitive prices.
Targeting Production and Export in line with European Standards.
The LED screens produced at the factory cater to a wide range of applications, from stadiums and shopping malls to concert venues and billboards. By maintaining its production quality at "European Standards," Taglig targets not only the domestic market but also the global market.
Exporting high-resolution and long-lasting panels developed by Turkish engineers to the world with the "Made in Türkiye" label is among the company's primary visions.
