Gürcan Karakaş, CEO of TOGG (Türkiye's Automobile Initiative Group), shared the information that the batteries to be used in Türkiye's Automobile will be produced in Türkiye through a partnership between TOGG and Farasis.
According to a statement by TOGG (Türkiye's Automobile Initiative Group), a joint venture company will be established between Farasis, one of the world's leading Li-Ion battery manufacturers, and TOGG to produce the batteries for Türkiye's Automobile. The aim of this joint venture is to contribute to the development of expertise in battery modules and packs, as well as battery chemistry and cells, in Türkiye. Furthermore, it is stated that the raw materials for the batteries to be used in Türkiye's Automobile will be sourced from Türkiye.
