The Bayraktar KIZILELMA unmanned jet fighter aircraft has made its first flight.

Following taxiing and low-altitude tests, the Bayraktar KIZILELMA successfully completed its first flight test.

Bayraktar KIZILELMA, expected to be Türkiye's first unmanned jet combat aircraft, successfully completed its first flight test after taxiing and low-altitude tests.

Based on our analysis of the first flight video shared by Baykar, we can assume that the areas where the landing gear will be hidden and the lower fuselage hangar section are not yet ready, and that these tests are being conducted to verify the avionics systems, engine-fuselage integration, and aerodynamics.

The Bayraktar KIZILELMA unmanned jet fighter, developed by Baykar, is expected to be a game-changer for the Turkish army and a factor that will enable Türkiye to move up a class in the field of aviation when completed. It is anticipated that twin-engine versions of the Bayraktar KIZILELMA, capable of supersonic speeds and carrying heavier payloads, will also be developed in the future.

The Bayraktar KIZILELMA system currently uses a Ukrainian-made turbofan engine as its power system, and in the future, it is planned to use the TEI-TF10000 turbofan engine, which was recently announced by TUSAŞ.
