Ankara High-Speed Train (YHT) Station has been transformed into a giant showcase of Türkiye's manufacturing power this year as part of the Savings, Investment and Turkish Goods Week, formerly known as Domestic Goods Week. Opened in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the exhibition brings together technologies bearing the "Made in Turkey" signature, from giants of the defense industry to innovative projects by vocational high school students, right in the heart of the capital.
Celebrated annually between December 12-18 and usually associated with agricultural products, "Domestic Products Week" is being celebrated this year in Ankara with a technological transformation. Ankara High-Speed Train Station, one of the busiest transportation hubs in the capital, showcases Türkiye's engineering achievements and production capacity.
Ministers Arrive with Togg, Opens the Attitude, Investment and Turkish Goods Exhibition
The exhibition, organized to mark the importance of the week, was opened by the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and the Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır. The fact that the two ministers arrived at the event area in Togg, Türkiye's domestically produced automobile, was the most important message reinforcing the week's emphasis on "technological production.".

The exhibition area at Ankara High-Speed Train Station features the following products and projects reflecting Türkiye's "National Technology Initiative" vision:
- Stars of the Defense Industry: Models and presentations of national aircraft such as KAAN, KIZILELMA, HÜRJET, GÖKBEY and ANKA, which were closely examined by students and citizens.
- The Signature of Vocational High Schools: “Robotics coding projects, innovative agricultural technologies, and industrial design products developed by students receiving education under the motto "Vocational High School is a National Issue".
- Togg, the domestically produced car: Togg, Türkiye's pride in the field of mobility, took its place in the exhibition as the most photographed and popular piece.

Citizens visiting the exhibition expressed their satisfaction with the expansion of the scope of the Domestic Products Week. Previously focused only on fruits and local foods, the exhibition now showcases high-tech devices, software, and defense systems produced in Türkiye, creating a picture that renews public self-confidence.
Minister Kacır, in his remarks at the opening, emphasized the importance of the atmosphere at Ankara High-Speed Train Station, saying, "Our children now know HÜRKUŞ, ATAK, and GÖKBEY as well as they know oranges and apples. This exhibition is proof of how far Türkiye has come.".
How long is the exhibition open?
This special technology exhibition at Ankara High-Speed Train Station will continue to welcome visitors throughout the Savings, Investment and Turkish Goods Week (until December 18th).
