Nurol BAE Systems Hava Sistemleri AŞ has completed ground tests of its Alesta unmanned aerial vehicle, which incorporates the capabilities of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing UAVs.

Alesta, a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) drone with rotating wings, has been added to the range of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) solutions in the Turkish defense industry.

Work on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which security forces have been using effectively recently, continues unabated. The aim of these efforts, coordinated by the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey's Defence Industries (SSB), is to provide security forces with new vehicles in various concepts.

Nurol BAE Systems Air Systems Inc. (BNA), which has been working on a different UAV concept for some time, is preparing for its first flight, which will take place soon.
