There's no escaping the Terahertz Imaging System.

In a project initiated under the leadership of TÜBİTAK, a system with superior features to existing x-ray devices was developed.

A project initiated under the leadership of TÜBİTAK has developed a system with superior capabilities compared to X-ray devices. The system can detect individuals carrying bombs, weapons, and drugs from a distance of 10 meters.

A project initiated between the Ministry of National Defence R&D Technology Department, TÜBİTAK MAM Materials Institute, International High Technology Laboratory, and BİLKENT NANOTAM is developing a Terahertz Imaging System to detect hazardous materials concealed on people at the entrances of civilian and military facilities.

Terahertz imaging systems can also be used for pregnant women and children because they are harmless to health and can obtain images from a safe distance.
