The "SIR" encrypted USB flash drive, developed by TÜBİTAK National Electronic and Cryptology Research Institute (UEKAE) and the only product of its kind approved by the NATO Military Committee, was introduced.
“SIR,” the 5th Turkish product to enter NATO’s inventory, can be used to encrypt all classified data belonging to NATO. Çağrı Koç, Electronic Engineer and Head of Customer Relations Business Development at the National Electronic and Cryptology Research Institute (UEKAE), stated at a press conference held at the TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus that UEKAE operates in the fields of information security, communication, and advanced electronics.
