TÜMOSAN, which has the honor of being the company that will develop the first domestic tank power unit for the defense industry, will design, develop, produce prototypes of, and integrate and qualify the power unit for the ALTAY Tank within the specified timeframe.
The ALTAY Tank Power Group will gain the capability to design diesel engines and hydromechanical transmissions. During the development process, TÜMOSAN will acquire the ability to design diesel engines and hydromechanical transmissions in the 300-1600 horsepower range, including 1500 hp tank engines.
