Canik won the procurement tender held in 2013 for the General Directorate of Security's 2014 needs with its TP9 model.
In November 2014, Canik won the tender for the purchase of 25,000 handguns to meet the 2015 needs, with its TP9SF model. In tests conducted under the world's most stringent specifications, Canik demonstrated the best performance among all international participants, thus representing Türkiye in this field.
