The winning entries in the Virtual and FPGA-based Physical Processor Design categories of the CPU Turkey competition have been announced.
Virtual Processor Design Category
1. SelCPU (Selçuk BAŞAK, SelSistem Information and Communication Technologies, 6,000 YTL)
2. Hurricane (Hurricane Design Group, TOBB University of Economics and Technology, 4,000 YTL)
3. CryptOdin (Nurtürk HARSA, Izmir Institute of Technology, 2,000 YTL)
FPGA-based Physical Processor Design Category
1. DPUMikro (Ismail GÜDENLER, Ercan Doğan, Dumlupınar University, 10,000 YTL)
2. CPU-Behind the Scenes (Research Assistant Anıl ÇELEBİ, Kocaeli University, 6,000 YTL)
3. iei-32 (Agah Burak DEMİRKAN, Gazi University, 4,000 YTL)
In addition, the 6 winning contestants in both categories were each awarded an Asus PDA and a trip to the AMD Dresden Factory.
