LIVZYM, the first and only Biotechnology Factory in the Middle East and North Africa, has opened. This factory will eliminate the need for industrial enzyme imports, a sector previously 100% dependent on foreign sources.
With LIVZYM, Türkiye's first domestic industrial enzyme factory, established through a university-industry collaboration model, it will be possible to export high value-added products (between $20 and $100 per kilogram), and if needed, many critically important biotechnological products, including vaccines, can be produced through this factory.
