Turkish-made Unmanned Aerial Vehicle “Gözcü”

The system consists of a lookout, a ground control station, a launch pad, and a generator unit.

Designed to meet the Turkish Armed Forces' short-term and long-term UAV needs, and having successfully completed its test flights, Gözcü consists of a ground control station, a launch pad, and a generator unit.

The system can be used in all types of terrain thanks to its ability to take off and land without needing a runway. The aircraft, predominantly constructed from composite materials, has a payload capacity of 8 kg and is capable of transmitting real-time day/night camera images up to 50 km and autonomous flight. All critical hardware and software for the Gözcü, which was developed entirely by TUSAŞ, are still undergoing flight tests.
