Vestel delivered one of the most successful device demos at BBC's UK launch event for its next-generation terrestrial digital broadcasting technology, DVB-T2.
Vestel was the only Turkish company to showcase its products at an event organized by the BBC in the UK, which was attended by four companies, to officially launch trial broadcasts of DVB-T2, the latest innovation in terrestrial digital broadcasting technology.
İhsaner Alkım, Executive Board Member responsible for R&D at Vestel Elektronik, stated that Vestel set-top boxes with DVB-T2 technology received full marks from the BBC, adding, "It is a great source of pride for us to be among the first Turkish companies in the world to showcase DVB-T2 technology.".
