The YTÜ DEFENSE INDUSTRY DAYS 2009 (YTÜ SSG'09) event is being organized by the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the YTÜ Mechanical Technologies Society at the Yıldız Campus Auditorium between March 2-3, 2009.
The main objective of this event is to ensure that university students once again realize the importance of our domestic defense industry for our country, to inform them about the development of domestically produced defense technologies, and to provide them with information about the future direction of the defense industry. In addition, young engineering students who have gained confidence and motivation by getting to know companies engaged in R&D-intensive work and seeing that advanced technology products can be produced in our country constitute the primary target audience of the event.
The event will feature leading companies in the Turkish defense industry, as well as other institutions and organizations operating in the sector. Within this framework, we will discuss the past, present, and future of the defense industry and its contributions to our country in terms of technology and economy.
