Gediz University Technology Team (G-TECH) designed a car that can travel 1,000 kilometers on 1 liter of gasoline and became the only team from Türkiye to qualify for the international competition in the Netherlands.
G-TECH is working on mass-produced hybrid cars with reduced fuel consumption and increased performance. Mechanical and Electrical-Electronics engineering students, together with their advisors, have achieved a significant success in this field.
The system, in which gasoline is first converted into electricity and then into mechanical energy, minimizing fuel loss and achieving high efficiency, has attracted attention abroad.
