A new video has been released for the National Heavy Class Torpedo AKYA.

Roketsan shared the latest video footage of the test firings of Türkiye's first torpedo, the National Heavy Class Torpedo AKYA, on its social media account.

Recently, Roketsan shared footage of a successful test firing of the domestically produced heavy torpedo by the TCG Gür submarine. This latest video shows details of the successful test firings of the AKYA domestically produced heavy-class torpedo, which has a range of 15 km and weighs 1.5 tons. Following the successful test firings by the TCG Gür submarine, the delivery of the AKYA domestically produced heavy-class torpedo is planned for this year.
