ASELSAN has completed the development of a modern and entirely domestically produced "Torpedo Jamming and Deception System" that can be used by surface ships. This system has been named "Hızır" (meaning "Savior") because it protects ships from torpedo threats, one of the most significant threats in warfare.
Primarily developed for the "National Ship" MİLGEM Project, the Hızır system is designed for use on corvettes and larger tonnage surface vessels. Designed to withstand all kinds of challenging sea conditions that such ships may encounter during their missions, the Hızır system locates threatening torpedoes much faster than its counterparts, saving the platform vital time and enabling detection even in more difficult conditions.
