Turkey, rich in boron, is preparing to introduce a new product to the world. Boron will be added to cement. Buildings constructed with this product will be more earthquake-resistant and cheaper to construct, and boron-infused cement will also reduce carbon dioxide emissions and decrease air pollution. Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Güler announced the new project, saying, "After Turkish coffee, now comes Turkish cement.".
