Turkish technology company CTech has won a major tender to protect NATO's satellite communications infrastructure. The SecureARX system developed by the company will provide uninterrupted and secure communication for military operations.
The new EPMS aims to replace previous versions of the system. CTech’s SecureARX system will be integrated into NATO’s satellite ground systems and will ensure the uninterrupted continuity of satellite communications operations. SecureARX will be integrated into both fixed and portable stations and platforms.
CTech CEO Dr. Cüneyd Fırat underlined the company's commitment to becoming a global brand in secure and resilient communication on fixed and mobile platforms for both military and government applications. He stated that SecureARX is specifically designed to meet all satellite communication requirements for secure and flexible over-the-horizon communication under challenging conditions in military and government use cases. SecureARX is designed to be easily deployable and managed in harsh environments.
Dr. Fırat also described the journey to winning this tender. CTech's SecureARX modems provide secure satellite communications that are resistant to electronic jamming. They worked closely with the Turkish Defence Industries Presidency (SSB), which officially nominated CTech to participate in the tender. Following this, NCIA issued an invitation to tender for the relevant Standardization Agreement and additional capabilities.
This achievement also represents a national mission and is an important indicator of the level Türkiye has reached in this field. This success at NCIA, NATO's technology and cyber center, will be a strong reference for CTech on its path to the international market.
