Savunma Sanayisi Başkanı Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, Türkiye’nin savunma ve havacılık sektöründe Mart 2025’te dikkat çekici bir başarı elde ettiğini duyurdu. Görgün’ün sosyal medya platformu X üzerinden yaptığı paylaşıma göre, sektörün ihracatı, bir önceki yılın Mart ayına kıyasla %147’lik rekor bir artışla 358 milyon dolardan 884 milyon dolara yükseldi.
Yılın ilk çeyreğinde ise savunma ve havacılık ihracatı, geçen yılın aynı dönemine göre %72 artarak 1,7 milyar dolar seviyesine ulaştı. Görgün, bu artışın Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı’nın (SSB) yüksek katma değerli ürünlerin ihracatına yönelik stratejisinin bir sonucu olduğunu belirtti. Paylaşımda, Türk savunma şirketlerinin artık dünyanın neredeyse tamamına ihracat yapabilir hale geldiği vurgulandı.
Sustainable Export Target
In his statement, Haluk Görgün stated that the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) continues its goal of making exports a sustainable growth factor for the sector in the coming period. Within this scope, it was noted that both large-scale companies and SMEs will be supported, and the number of exporting companies will be increased. Görgün added that international activities will continue in line with this goal.
The sector's global growth continues.
Türkiye's defense and aerospace sector continues to gain a significant place in the global market in recent years. According to previous data, the sector's exports in the first four months of 2021 were at the level of 950 million dollars. The projected figure to reach 1.7 billion dollars in the first quarter of 2025 indicates that the sector is maintaining its growth trend. Turkish companies are attracting attention in the international market, particularly with high-tech products such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), armored vehicles, and electronic systems.
