A software company from Konya has developed a digital 'Smart Shopping Assistant' that can be mounted on shopping carts in shopping malls, putting an end to the hassle of searching for products in supermarkets.
Ali Ortakabakçı, Business Development Manager of RNK Technology and Software Company, which operates in the Technopark building on Selçuk University's Alaaddin Keykubat Campus, stated that they observed that customers have difficulty finding the products they want quickly within large supermarkets, and that they have started working to solve this problem.
Ortakabakçı stated that as a result of their R&D studies, which lasted approximately 2 years and were supported by TÜBİTAK, they developed a device they named 'Smart Shopping Assistant', and that they produced a prototype of the device in the first stage.
