FNSS has begun showcasing the PARS 4X4, the newest member of its PARS product family designed for special-purpose missions such as advanced surveillance, anti-tank operations, and command and control, at the IDEF15 trade fair. The PARS 4X4, with its distinctive design and mobility capabilities, is drawing significant attention.
The PARS 4X4, with a power output of 25-30 hp/ton, boasts a low silhouette of 1.9 m and amphibious capabilities. With a crew of five, it can operate in deep and fast-flowing water without any prior preparation. Its enhanced maneuverability in water is provided by two water jets located at the rear. The vehicle is capable of pivot turns and, if desired, can reverse in the water.
The vehicle's body, protected against mines and improvised explosive devices, is made of ballistic material.
Designed with the use and transport of equipment for different tasks and user needs in mind, the vehicle also stands out with its load-carrying capacity and open architecture features.
