A cooperation protocol was signed between GÜNSEL, the domestically produced automobile of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and OSTİM Technical University, located in Ankara OSTİM, one of Türkiye's most important industrial zones.
With the protocol signed by GÜNSEL Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel and OSTİM Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek, GÜNSEL's doors have been opened to students of OSTİM Technical University Vocational School.
Within the scope of the signed protocol, students of OSTİM Technical University Vocational School, primarily those studying Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technology, but also those in Computer Programming, Information Security and Technology, Electrical and Electronic Technology, E-Commerce and Marketing, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics, will have the opportunity to intern and be employed at GÜNSEL.
Developed on the Near East University campus, GÜNSEL, the electric car of the Mediterranean, already offers internships and job guarantees to students graduating from the engineering and vocational schools of Near East University, where it originated.
Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek: “Our students will have the chance to experience the technologies of the future at GÜNSEL.”
Emphasizing that they operate with an industrial university vision, OSTİM Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek stated, “Our students have internship opportunities in many institutions, primarily in the defense industry. Some even start their working lives in the companies where they did their internships. We are very pleased that, with this meaningful protocol we have signed, our students will have the opportunity to intern and be employed at GÜNSEL, the domestic automobile manufacturer of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.”.
Reminding that electric vehicle production is a very important field that will shape the future, Prof. Dr. Yülek said, “Our students studying in the Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technology, Computer Programming, Information Security and Technology, Electrical and Electronic Technology, E-Commerce and Marketing, Logistics, Mechanical and Mechatronics departments will have the chance to experience the technologies of the future at GÜNSEL.”.
