A study conducted by three universities has resulted in the development of a technology that allows hair to change color like a chameleon on demand.
Under the leadership of Atılım University, researchers from Çanakkale 18 Mart University and METU are developing a technology that will give hair the desired color under a specific frequency of light. With this project, hair will be dyed once with this technology, and then, after entering an ultraviolet booth and waiting for a few minutes, it will have the desired color and tone.
With the new smart hair dye technology, military camouflage will also be able to change color according to terrain conditions and become undetectable by radar.
