Maden Tetkik Arama (MTA) için yaptırılan yerli sismik araştırma gemisi TURKUAZ 28 Mart 2014 tarihinde denize indirildi.

Turkuaz sismik araştırma gemisi 86 metre boyunda, 23 metre genişliğinde. Büyüklüğünün yanı sıra gemide helikopter platformu, sismik operasyon kabiliyeti, ekipman ve laboratuvar imkanlarını da bulunmakta.
