Critical Technology for KAAN and HÜRJET: A New Signature from Altınay and Netaş

Altınay Defense Technologies, together with its subsidiary TAAC, has signed a cooperation agreement with Netaş for the development of landing gear and test systems for KAAN and HÜRJET aircraft.

Türkiye's defense industry will be further strengthened with a significant strategic move. Altınay Defense Technologies, together with its subsidiary TAAC, has signed a cooperation agreement with Netaş.

This agreement marks the beginning of a significant collaboration in the defense industry.

Details of the TAAC and Netaş Collaboration

TAAC Aviation Technologies General Manager Enis Ata said, “This collaboration will enable us to expand our product range in the aviation sector, including landing gear, flight control actuators, and high-tech test systems for platforms developed in our country.” The collaboration with Netaş will help Altınay Defense Group provide more effective solutions for defense industry projects.

Ata stated that this collaboration would not only meet needs but also expand the pool of domestic and national solutions. “This partnership with Netaş is an important step in meeting the needs of our defense industry,” he added.

Localization and High Technology

This partnership aims to accelerate progress on critical projects, particularly the timely development of the landing gear for the National Combat Aircraft KAAN and the HÜRJET Iron Bird Test System. Enis Ata stated, “We have succeeded in developing the KAAN landing gear within a very ambitious timeline. The HÜRJET Iron Bird Test System also provides the opportunity to test all subsystems of the aircraft under real flight conditions.”.

Netaş CEO Sinan Dumlu stated that these collaborations will greatly contribute to Türkiye's goals of technological independence and increase its competitiveness in the international arena.
