Ismail Demir, head of the Defense Industry, shared information about the ongoing 7.62 mm Machine Gun project for various platforms.

Sarsılmaz is continuing the qualification tests for the “SAR 762” PMT 7.62 machine gun, a development for various platforms. Following the completion of these qualification tests, the PMT 7.62 will enter mass production, eliminating dependence on foreign sources for 7.62 mm machine guns.
