Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) will participate in the Singapore Airshow, one of Asia's most important aviation events, which is held every two years, between February 15-18, 2022.
The company, which will exhibit a full-scale model of the National Combat Aircraft developed with national resources at Turkish Aerospace Industries facilities for the first time in the Asian market, will also present 1/7 scale models of its other developed platforms to visitors at the same fair.
Having recently opened an office in Malaysia, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) has accelerated its efforts to develop new joint projects in the defense and aviation sectors in the Asian market. In 2021, TAI also made headlines in the Asian market with its ANKA Unmanned Aerial Vehicle sales agreement with Kazakhstan. Participating in Malaysia's jet training aircraft tender with its HÜRJET Jet Training Aircraft, which is currently undergoing mass production at TAI facilities, the company aims to carry out significant work on other platforms in the coming period and strengthen its presence in this market.
Sharing his views on the Singapore Airshow, the General Manager of Turkish Aerospace Industries, Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil, said: “We are excited to be participating in the Singapore Airshow once again. We attach great importance to the Asian market. We are determined to take significant steps in a period where we will accelerate our efforts to strengthen our presence in this large market, especially with Malaysia and Kazakhstan, by increasing our collaborations both in the academic field and in production. We are continuing our work on new business models to develop our historically close relations with Asian countries in the field of aviation. In this context, we will hold important meetings with military and civilian representatives from various countries and companies participating in the Singapore Airshow to develop our capacity.”.
