AKINROBOTICS introduced three new robot models at a launch event held on 2 November 2026. According to the company's post, the new robots named MyAda, MIDA and AKINCI-5 were announced to the public at the event. The launch event continued with a night in which the robots were showcased on stage and the singer Demet Akalın gave a concert.
The Newest of the Ada Robots: the Social Robot MyAda
MyAda is a social robot with a broad range of applications, from education to healthcare, and from tourism to retail. Thanks to its touchscreen, MyAda can convey lesson content visually and aurally, and aims to increase in-class interaction with its facial recognition and multilingual support. While supporting greeting, wayfinding and information processes in healthcare institutions, it can also act as a guide in hotels, museums and tourist areas.
Thanks to its LIDAR sensor and depth sensor, it can perceive its surroundings with high precision and move autonomously. Its affection sensor, which detects physical contact, responds to tactile interaction. Offering 8 hours of active use, MyAda can be charged in 2.5 hours thanks to its fast-charging feature. With its autonomous charging capability, MyAda can charge itself and offer uninterrupted service.
The AI-Supported Personal Assistant MIDA
One of the most striking innovations at the AKINROBOTICS launch was the personal assistant announced under the name MIDA, presented as a combination of artificial intelligence and advanced robotics technologies. MIDA, which can speak, answer questions and interact one-to-one with users, supports children's learning processes in education and can answer the questions of patients and visitors in healthcare institutions.
In restaurants, it interacts with guests at tables and provides information about the menu and products. Able to take orders as well, MIDA also provides interactive communication support for daily work processes in corporate environments. MIDA, which can turn different emotions into animations with its facial LEDs, establishes effective interaction by perceiving people through its facial recognition and facial tracking features.
The Humanoid Robot AKINCI-5
AKINCI-5 holds the distinction of being Türkiye's first humanoid robot, previously introduced by AKINROBOTICS. Taking the stage at the launch in its renewed version, AKINCI-5 draws attention with its human-like fluid movement capability. In the company's earlier posts, it was stated that movement imitation-based dance and movement work was being carried out on the robot. In this work, body movements are observed, imitated and associated with rhythm to develop movement repetition.
AKINCI-5's ability to walk fluidly had also drawn attention in the early days of its first introduction. With its humanoid structure and advanced technologies, the robot is among the platforms targeted for use across a broad field, from education to healthcare, and from the service sector to entertainment.
