Otokar, Türkiye's leading bus manufacturer, will usher in a new era in Georgian public transportation with its Kent LF and Sultan LF buses. Contributing to modern public transportation in over 50 countries, including Turkey, Otokar has secured one of the year's largest export deals with Georgia.
Otokar has signed a contract worth approximately €18.7 million with the Georgian Municipal Development Fund, covering 175 buses, spare parts, and training.
Otokar, a Koç Group company, continues to outperform its international competitors with its innovative buses. With 57 years of experience, Otokar has secured one of its largest export deals of 2020 with Georgia, for its buses that have garnered significant praise in the countries where they are used for their design, ergonomics, and technology.
Otokar, which has won the appreciation of international users with its design, comfort, technology, and low operating costs, will start a new era in Georgia's public transportation with 175 buses. According to the 18.7 million Euro agreement with the Georgian Municipal Development Fund, deliveries of 117 Sultan LF and 58 Kent LF buses, which will be used in 6 different cities, will begin in 2020. Otokar will also provide spare parts and training for the buses.
