TÜBİTAK is launching a new project aimed at developing an aircraft defense system. The project, to be carried out by the TÜBİTAK Defense and Security Technologies Research Support Group (SAVTAG), plans to develop an "Infrared-Based Missile Warning System".

The project aims to enable aircraft platforms to protect themselves against air defense threats. The system to be developed will be an "Infrared-Based Missile Warning System," allowing aircraft to take countermeasures against incoming threats. The project stages are defined as infrared detector development, prototype production, and aircraft integration.
