Polisan Paint has developed 'Polymetal Water-Based' paint that can be applied to metal and rust. This project, a world first, was supported by TÜBİTAK TEYDEB with approximately one million TL.
Water-based Polymetal paint can be applied directly to rusty surfaces from which coarse rust has been removed, without the need for a primer. While primer application is required with old-style solvent-based metal paints, no primer application is necessary with "Polymetal Water-Based" metal paint. This saves time and labor losses caused by primer or intermediate coat applications before painting.
