National naval platforms will be protected from near-miss air threats by the BORA Air Defense System developed by Aselsan.
BORA, developed for the air defense of naval platforms, is a Low Altitude Air Defense System equipped with various sensors and all its functions are controlled by a computer.
The system can automatically orient itself towards targets detected by its own sensors or the sensors of the naval platform to which it is integrated, and assigned to it from the command center. Optionally, it can also operate integrated with the multi-purpose operator console located in the ship's combat management center.
In addition to the Stinger missile, the system, which can integrate various other missiles, is an effective air defense system designed to operate in maritime conditions.
