Roketsan introduced ÇAKIR, a cruise missile planned to be developed using national resources, which can be launched from air, land, and sea vehicles and used against surface and land targets.
The Çakır Project, a National Turbojet Development Project to be implemented by Kale Arge and Roketsan, was officially launched today with a ceremony attended by the Head of the Defense Industry, İsmail Demir.
Roketsan shared an animated video on its social media accounts showcasing the features of the ÇAKIR cruise missile to defense industry followers. The video demonstrates the ÇAKIR cruise missile's engagement capabilities against land and sea targets, and its launch capability from both air and land platforms.
