TÜBİTAK SAGE MİLKON has acquired all the necessary capabilities for the design, development, and qualification of connectors according to military standards through the national connector development project.
Within the scope of the SAGE MILKON project, the necessary test infrastructures, in accordance with the test matrices, have been established and made accessible to companies working in the connector field.
Connectors, which essentially serve as a connection tool to enable communication between various electronic units or sensors in military systems, are of critical importance. It is also crucial that these connectors, which allow critical units in military systems to communicate with each other, function flawlessly under all kinds of harsh conditions (cold, rain, vibration, impact, high heat, etc.). Considering all these conditions, having a reliable testing infrastructure becomes very important for manufacturers to produce connectors that meet military standards.
The SAGE MILKON project aims to provide domestic companies producing connectors for the civilian sector with access to the necessary testing infrastructure to produce connectors that meet military standards, thereby reducing dependence on foreign suppliers in this field.
