ASELSAN's Strategic Focus Led to the Share Transfer.
ASELSAN's decision to transfer its shares in DASAL stems from its strategy of focusing on specific areas and technologies. In a statement at SAHA EXPO, ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol stated that ASELSAN aims to move towards higher technology and more challenging fields, and will delegate tasks that can be done within Turkey to other companies. Akyol views this share transfer as part of ASELSAN's strategy to achieve its goal of becoming one of the world's top 30 defense industry companies by 2030.
Altınay's Growth Vision
Hakan Altınay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Altınay Defense Technologies, expressed his gratitude to ASELSAN management for their supportive approach and steps aligned with Altınay's strategic vision. Altınay emphasized the importance of this acquisition for the development of cloud-based and multi-rotor drone solutions, stating that they aim to increase their contributions to Türkiye's defense industry. Altınay further stated their determination to strengthen their position in the global market with their high-tech solutions.
Z. Burak Mercan, General Manager of Altınay Defense Technologies, anticipates that their collaboration with ASELSAN will continue thanks to their combined engineering expertise and increasing production capabilities. This partnership is expected to benefit both Altınay Defense Technologies and DASAL Aviation Technologies, particularly in the development of new unmanned aerial vehicle products and platforms.
