Turkey's longest and fastest metro line has opened. The 69-kilometre Gayrettepe–Istanbul Airport–Halkalı line will operate fully autonomously using ASELSAN's domestically developed COBALT system. Line will be free of charge until 31 July.
Turkish telecom provider Türk Telekom and defense technology company ASELSAN have partnered to develop domestic smartphones and communication infrastructure.
ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol announced the signing of contracts for Siper 3, 4 and A, which will form the strategic layer of the Steel Dome with exo-atmospheric ballistic missile interception capabilities.
