Türkiye is commissioning the National Surveillance Radar (MGR), the first civilian surveillance radar developed with domestic and national resources, in Gaziantep.
Türkiye's first national air traffic control simulator, atcTRsim, with its 360-degree view capability, is starting its service at Esenboğa Airport. It's a domestically developed technology by TÜBİTAK and HAVELSAN.
Türkiye's first national bird detection radar, KUŞRAD, reduces the risk of bird strikes at airports with its 20 km range. The technology, developed by DHMI and TÜBİTAK, is now operational.
The National Surveillance Radar (MGR), developed by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, is operational with a range of 110 km. This domestically produced radar, capable of tracking 1000 targets simultaneously, protects Turkish airspace.
