TEMSA was acquired by Sabancı Holding and its main partner Skoda Transportation, thus being brought back into the Turkish economy.
TEMSA's management has passed to a partnership between Sabancı Holding and PPF Group following final approvals from relevant authorities both domestically and internationally. PPF Group, which manages assets worth approximately 50 billion Euros globally, is also the main shareholder of Skoda Transportation, one of the world's leading engineering and industrial companies.
With the signing of agreements between Sabancı Holding's subsidiary Exsa Export Sanayi Mamulleri Satış ve Araştırma A.Ş. and PPF Group's subsidiary PPF IndustryCo. BV (PPF), TEMSA, which has served Turkish industry for over 50 years, has been brought back to the Turkish economy with its new partnership structure.
NEW CEO: TOLGA KAAN DOĞANCIOĞLU
TEMSA, a leading player in the bus and minibus market in Türkiye, which has exported nearly 15,000 vehicles developed by Turkish engineers to almost 70 countries to date, has appointed Tolga Kaan Doğancıoğlu, who most recently worked at Kordsa, a subsidiary of the Sabancı Group, as its CEO. Having worked in the automotive sector for many years in both production and design, and possessing extensive experience in this field, Tolga Kaan Doğancıoğlu will contribute to ensuring competitive production continuity and strengthening the company's position in existing markets. He will also lead TEMSA in potential growth areas such as smart transportation, electric and autonomous vehicles.
