Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) has shifted its export focus to South America. Prior to the LAAD Defense and Security Exhibition, the region's most prestigious defense event, the T129 ATAK helicopter conducted demonstration flights in Brazil, receiving high praise from Brazilian military officials in the cities of Taubate and Brasilia.
