Ismail Demir, the head of the Defense Industry, announced a new wave of excitement in the final days of 2020, revealing the good news about the ORKA National Torpedo development project.

Ismail Demir, head of the Defense Industry, announced on his social media account, "We have launched the 324 mm Torpedo Development Project to meet our navy's lightweight torpedo needs with domestic capabilities." The torpedoes to be developed under this project can be launched from underwater platforms, as well as from surface platforms, aircraft, and helicopters.
