Togg, Türkiye's first domestic car manufacturer, has launched a general order period for its T10X smart mobility device, with deliveries scheduled for 2024.
The T10X is described as an electric, connected, and smart SUV. Integrated with Togg's Trumore digital experience platform, the T10X offers users a sustainable, personalized, and enjoyable mobility experience.
All users who wish to own a T10X can download the Trumore application, available on the App Store and Google Play, create an ID, and place their orders. Users who place orders can customize the T10X's color, wheels, interior, battery, engine, and equipment options using the advanced 3D configurator within the Trumore application. The price of the T10X varies depending on the selected features. The starting price of the T10X has been announced as 1,432,600 TL.
The T10X was developed from a concept car introduced in 2019. Its design was a collaboration between Turkish designer Murat Günak and Pininfarina. The T10X incorporates elements of Turkish culture in its design; for example, the wheels and grille shape resemble a tulip motif. The interior of the T10X also features tulip-shaped stitching.
The T10X offers two different engine options: single-motor or twin-motor. The single-motor version is rear-wheel drive and produces 210 horsepower. The twin-motor version is all-wheel drive and boasts 430 horsepower. The T10X also comes in two battery capacity options: 52.4 kWh or 88.5 kWh. The T10X's range varies depending on battery capacity and driving mode. According to WLTP standards, the maximum range of the T10X is stated as 523 km.
The T10X features a 29-inch panoramic display covering the driver's instrument panel, center console, and passenger area. The T10X's display includes an AI-powered infotainment system, which works seamlessly with Togg's Trumore digital platform. Trumore provides users with access to mobility solutions anytime, anywhere. Trumore also offers access to health data, home automation, social media, and reward programs.
The T10X is the first product of Togg, a joint venture of five Turkish companies to produce Türkiye's first domestically manufactured car. Togg plans to produce five different electric vehicle models by 2030. Togg also aims to offer clean energy solutions. To reduce its carbon footprint and encourage users to make sustainable choices, Togg is working in collaboration with Trugo, Trumore, and Siro.
The Togg T10X is a vehicle that demonstrates Türkiye's ambition in the automotive sector. It stands out as a smart mobility device capable of competing with both domestic and international rivals. Togg plans to enter the European market by the end of 2024.
