Turkey has generally remained a “consumer” in the face of developments in the IT sector over the last 25 years. While our universities and other technical schools have followed this process adequately, both scientifically and industrially, society has only been in a position to use technology, receive education in it, and provide it.
In order to foster greater creativity in technological education and to encourage a closer examination of computer design by users, technicians, and engineers, the CPU Turkey competition was organized. The aim was to increase people's interest in digital circuits, computer organization and architecture, and processors during the design process of Türkiye's processor, and to provide a better education in this area.
