Türkiye's smart missile SOM has completed its tests.

TÜBİTAK SAGE has completed all tests of Türkiye's smart missile SOM and its variants, which it began developing in 2006, using national test infrastructure.

What is the National Smart Missile SOM?

The SOM missile is a long-range, air-to-surface, turbojet-powered cruise missile that enables the accurate strike of targets without entering the effective range of air defense systems, and possesses effective attack capabilities against stationary surface targets and moving surface targets.
