Having showcased both passenger and taxi versions of the V1 concept for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show, Karsan is about to take another giant leap forward.
The company is going on a road show to showcase the vehicle, which will be launched in the first half of 2014, to the whole world.
Karsan, aiming to sell the taxi version of the V1 to 40 megacities worldwide, will make its first trip to London, famous for its taxis, after Geneva. The company will travel to London in May to introduce and market the vehicle. Karsan aims to prove the vehicle's worth by entering the London market, known for its uniquely designed taxis. Karsan Managing Director Jan Nahum stated that they meticulously examined 15 major metropolises, adding, "London, Istanbul, and all other metropolises are our target.".
