Pharmactive, a Turkish pharmaceutical company with 100% domestic capital, has started exporting to European countries after previously exporting to the Middle East, the Balkans, and Asian countries.
Pharmactive Pharmaceuticals, which has been conducting research and development for two years and exports the medicines it develops and produces in its own R&D to Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Malta, Portugal, England, France and Hungary, shipped 1 million boxes of medicine in its first shipment.
Pharmactive Pharmaceuticals celebrated the launch of its first batch of products with a ceremony attended by all its employees. The products will be launched as the first equivalents in these countries through its distributors after the patent expires in November.
Pharmactive Board Member Levent Selamoğlu, speaking at an event organized to promote product exports, stated that they aim to be the export leader among 100% domestically owned companies in Türkiye, saying, “In the short term, we are already exporting to our regional geography. We currently have exports to the Middle East and the Balkans. In the medium term, we are targeting the European market, and in the long term, the United States market.”.
